Coaching Philosophy

I am a firm advocate of Arthur Lydiard’s methods. My philosophy can be summed up by one sentence “Coaching is all about the athlete”.

Coaching Experience

One of my proudest moments was supporting the #RunWales100 project in 2019. The #RunWales100 project was a collaboration between Run Wales and Run 4 Wales, the Cardiff University/Cardiff Half Marathon organisers. It was hoped that the project would help those taking part take their first steps towards a healthier lifestyle. This project along with the #WhyWeRun campaign also helped to celebrate the rise of women runners, showcased by a female majority taking on the Cardiff Half for the first time in its history!

I am also the club coach for the Dragons Running Club – Aberdare.
